Because blogs don't need themes.

So I've tried to give my blogs themes, and they've pretty much failed. I think it's in my nature to be eclectic. My old roommates use to tell me that my random fact knowledge is pretty expansive. This got me to thinking why not have my blog reflect me. Isn't that the best theme ever? Of course, I'm kidding. If I were serious, no one would be reading this random stuff because, frankly, I'm not a particularly interesting person. I'm just an eclectic person.
One facet of my eclectic nature is my ridiculous love of food.
Another facet is my love to entertain.
Another is my love of photography.
My love of art.
Love of reading.
of almost everything under the sun.

On a different note, on my friend, Carolyn's, birthday about 3 weeks ago. We went to Taiko in Irvine to eat. This restaurant is notoriously known to be crowded and have a quite long wait time. When we went, we only waited about 10 minutes. Their service was awesome. You have some nice older ladies wait on you. It makes you feel like they're your grandmother or mother.
I ordered the sukiyaki (which they made vegetarian specifically for me, SCORE!) and Carolyn got the sushi. The sukiyaki was huge. I couldn't even finish half. So I tried to take it home. They gave me two to-go liquid containers, and in many failed attempts I tried to fit this monster of a meal into two doggie bags. Finally, my restaurant mother came over and helped put all of that liquid, noodles, tofu, and onions into the containers. It was almost perfect, almost. I got a bit splashed. If I didn't get splashed I would have probably yelled bloody murder or witchcraft since it's pretty impossible to not splash.
As I sat and looked at the shallow iron pot, I desperately wanted to take it home to add it to my collection of random kitchen crap. Afterall, a girl can never have enough random kitchen crap. Sadly, I decided against it because a truly sad headline would be, "Woman put in jail for attempt theft of iron pot."
