I am in Jeju, SK, and finally blogging again.

Hello, world! or maybe the microworld of people who read my blogs. So after orientation at Suwon, I've been on Jeju Island for the past two 1/2 months. Glorious, yes? Indeed.
I've met wonderful people, seen wonderful things, and eaten more than anyone can ever imagine.
Surprise, I eat meat now.
Yesterday, I spent some time alone at a coffee shop reading and grading papers from my students, but I didn't take a photo of the cafe latte I drank. I've been kind of obsessed lately with cafe lattes. They always have that milk foam art on the top, and that makes me a happy camper.
After, I wandered a bit around the city hall area, where I decided it was time to buy things to eat that would be bad for my well-being. This is a hotdog with a cabbage coleslaw on the bottom. The bottom was a definite surprise, but not in a bad way. After this monster, I planned to eat fried things, which are just as bad for my health. The dark colored ones are seasoned noodles wrapped in seaweed, the other things are squid. I ate the noodles...then I felt like throwing everything back up in it's original form. So now, the squid is sitting in my fridge. Oh no.

Oh, I'm going to Japan for five days.

I will try to update this blog more. Maybe, twice a week? That's reasonable, yeah?

Off to school!
